He was injured in a motorcycle accident 11 years ago which left him paralyzed from the waist down. He became involved with Neuro Resources Outreach Services Peer Mentoring, Advocacy, Fundraising, and Accessibility Housing Programs in 2011. Though this adversity, Willis found his purpose-helping others continue after paralysis.
